General
By simply phoning us and completing a quick meal requirement survey to ensure we supply the
correct food to you, for your dietary requirements.
We can set you on a frequency for example daily, weekly or your chosen day. You do not have to
phone us every day, only when you are not going to be home or if you want to cancel a meal. Simply
phone us by 8am and we will cancel your meal for the day. If you are going away or decide to take a
break from our meals, simply phone us to put a pause on your delivery. Your meal plan can be
changed/altered at any time – our service is very flexible, there is no contract.
We issue invoices monthly by email or delivered with your meals, at the beginning of the following
month. Therefore, you will always be billed for the previous month. (Payment in arrears). Our
preferred method is that automatic payments are set up for your credit (currently with no fees) or
debit card, or alternatively automatic payments by direct debit from your account. This is set up
when clients start their service and is set up as a variable amount. You will receive an invoice in the
beginning of the following month and the funds are debited 7 working days after receipt of invoice.
There are numerous government funded programmes in place and you may qualify for a subsidised
meal by registering to My Aged Care (we can assist with registration). If you have a service provider
and are on a Home Care Package, we will contact your provider and arrange meals for you.
We have a 6-week set menu that has been worked out by our chef. Should you not be able to eat a
certain food, we supply you with an alternative meal for that day.
We deliver chilled/frozen meals including frozen meals/soups/desserts. The options are
main meals, soup, dessert, salad, sandwich, and juice. Weekly breakfast packs are available to order.
Your meals will be delivered by our volunteer team. Our volunteers are wonderful friendly locals,
and all our volunteers are police checked. Contactless delivery is also available.
Yes, if you are not home on a frequent basis, we can leave food in your fridge (if we have access to
it) or in an outside fridge.
If we deliver and you are not home, we can leave it with a neighbour with your permission (if this
has been arranged beforehand). Meals cannot be left in eskies if you are not home due to food safety regulations.
Yes, you can. You can cancel meals until 8am on the day of delivery for any reason. We are also
happy to suspend your meals for longer periods if you are going to be away from home.
No, we have no lock in contracts or subscriptions. You can join and cancel at any time and just pay
for the meals received to date.
