General Manager - Wendy Smith
Wendy Smith started with Meals on Wheels Pine Rivers in 2013 as a relief manager and then was appointed to the Business Manager role.
Her prior experience with Queensland Health as a home care worker and coordinator for the Aged Care sector at Caboolture is invaluable in her understanding of our clients’ needs.
In 2021, Wendy was engaged as the General Manager of Meals on Wheels Moreton Bay Region and has led the team through the amalgamation of the services successfully.

Danielle Cave
Danielle has been an Accredited Practising Dietitian since 2017 and has experience working in residential aged care. She is currently working as a Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast, based at the Moreton Bay campus in Petrie.
Danielle completed her PhD through the University of Queensland in 2023. Her research focuses on improving food and nutrition for older adults living in the community and in residential aged care, as well as foodservice management. Danielle joined the board in October 2025s
Christine Parke - Treasurer
Christine Parke was previously employed as Finance Officer with Meals on Wheels Moreton Bay Region following the amalgamation in July 2021. Now retired and volunteering, she has been appointed as Treasurer, bringing strong financial expertise and a deep understanding of the organisation’s financial operations and governance requirements. Christine provides valuable oversight and support to the Board, supporting sound financial management and the ongoing sustainability of the organisation.

Greg Fahey - President

Bob Singleton - Member
in 2022, he moved to Queensland and resumed his volunteering for MOW Burpengary.
Bob has founded a communication company specialising in modems and has a degree in Management and Information Systems.
Pauline Walker - Member
With over 40 years of community service, Pauline brings a wealth of experience and
a deep commitment to social justice to her role as a board member of Meals on
Wheels. Her professional qualifications include a Master of Social Science, a
Bachelor of Social Science, and a Graduate Diploma of Education, underpinned by
extensive experience in teaching, counselling, and advocacy within aged care, child
protection, and community services.
Throughout her career, Pauline has worked as a course developer, trainer, and
assessor in various sectors, including aged and disability support, child protection,
and community services. She has also served as a Senior Community Visitor,
ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people, and as a
counsellor at Karuna Hospice Service, providing in-home palliative care.
A passionate advocate for inclusion, Pauline has utilised her specialised training in
cultural diversity and social justice to promote dignity and sensitivity in aged care and
advance culturally aware services for Indigenous communities
Pauline’s holistic approach to community care, grounded in her personal and
professional experiences, strengthens Meals on Wheels’ mission to deliver
compassionate and culturally respectful support to those who need it.
