Urgent Volunteers Needed

Meals on Wheels Moreton Bay is currently seeking volunteers across Bribie Island, Caboolture and Petrie.

We need help with:
 • Meal preparation and packing
• Delivery drivers and driver aides
• Administration support
• Kitchen and cleaning assistance

Even 2–3 hours of your time can make a real difference to members of our community who rely on our service.

Individuals, retirees, students and local businesses are all welcome to volunteer.

If you can spare a few hours a week or even once a month, we would love to hear from you.

Our GoFundMe campaign aims to provide a lifeline to those who need it most by ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry. With your support, we can offer assistance to those who are unable to pay for their meals, ensuring they have access to nutritious food and the comfort of a warm meal.

 

Your donation will directly contribute to purchasing meals for those in need. Every dollar donated will go towards ensuring that no aged or disabled person in our community has to face the anguish of an empty stomach.

For more than 60 years, Meals on Wheels has delivered meals to thousands of Queenslanders with a wide variety of support needs. Whilst we’re best known for delivering meals to seniors, we also serve those with disabilities, those recovering after hospitalisation or illness, and those in need of assistance. We are considered an essential service with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic.
